I've been making film and video programs for more than 30 years. After graduating the University of Texas with Sociology as a major, my first career step was as TV journalist at the CBS station in Columbus Ohio. Later, I came to Dallas to start a program called "4 Country Reporter" at KDFW-TV as cameraman and co-producer. It quickly became a very popular weekly program that told historical stories of the small Texas towns and interesting people around North Texas. I left to start my own business as a freelance cameraman. I shot political videos and films for several US Senatorial and Gubernatorial political campaigns and I also shot for a nationally syndicated program called "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous" doing many of the stories that came out of the Southwest. Over those years I built West End Post, a very successful post and production company in Dallas involved with commercials, marketing videos and other promotional video for non-profits. My work has taken me to every state in our country and around the world. My father was a nationally renowned Marriage and Family therapist in Dallas and for a number of years he was the head of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. As a boy I thought I wanted to be just like him. But life has its way of redirecting and letting one find a new path. From his influence, and my own background, I have learned the Family is the main crucible of our human life. From and within the context of our various families over our lifetime, much of what is ultimately the most meaningful aspect of life is formed and learned. I also believe we have an obligation to pass on to future generations who we and those influential family members are and what meanings about life we have learned and hold dear.

I have worked as a freelance video editor, graphic designer and DVD author for the past 9 years in Dallas, TX. Jay gave me my first job right out of college and we've been working together on various projects ever since. MyLife has given me the opportunity to combine my video and graphic skills with my background as a history major. My appreciation for history started at an early age thanks to my grandfather. His extensive genealogy research yielded amazing stories about our family's heritage. He told me these stories growing up and, over time, I came to appreciate their significance. So as to not forget them, I wanted to try and capture the stories in some way, shape or form. As I did, I saw how much my grandparents enjoyed telling their stories and reliving moments they hadn't thought of in many years. When Jay approached me with the MyLife concept I immediately became involved. Over the past 2 years, together we've developed and refined the product into something that is truly captures a life. I am proud to be a part of this venture... I've seen the meaningful impact it can have on individuals and their families.
